You know the deal.
You've got to spin the wheel.
I've heard the heavens are full of sevens.

Obligatory schedule post.
Apr. 1st, 2008 | 03:19 pm
Here is my schedule for Fall, 2008.
10:00am-10:50am MWF - Beginning French I. This is dumb because I've already taken two years of French, but whatevs.
1:00pm - 1:50pm MWF - Dev. Math. Because I suck at math.
6:30pm - 9:15pm M - American Literature I.
12:30pm - 1:45pm TR - Shakespeare I
6:30pm - 9:15pm T - General Psychology.
I'm adding another course when I can, because I'll get bored with only 15 credits.
The end.

So I changed my major to English.
Also, I'm going to be going to (maybe) Dickinson Law for Pre-Law stuff, and then I'm applying to Harvard. And I will be going.

Ticking clocks. The life scene is where it's at. I'm not sure you have any idea. Everyone was asking me to do it, and then she came over and just did it for me. What does it mean?
I don't think it means what most people would take it for. It just means that the sky is rushing down towards the mountains in an infinite haze of blue and gold. That means I miss high school.
I guess right now I'm just a fish in a pond full of scum and dirt and not real people. People who only care about their degree and what it means with that 2.4 kids and their white picket fence and their tire swing in the yard.
She's so beautiful, and she doesn't mean a thing to me. Ben Gibbard is a God among men, and if you don't agree, well, maybe it's time for you to see a psychologist.
I can't see anymore. It's all clear, and foggy. Fog makes me want to see. I wish I could cut through the haze, and make it so that the rain goes away. And all the people.
All the people.
The people decided to fly away. Up towards the stars. And it's there they stay.
Until tomorrow.
A better day.
A lesson learned.
They're back to stay.
A minor. E minor. Dsus. G.

Wow. Reversal much?
No more girlfriend.
No more job.
Rejoined choir.
I'm playing an open mic night Thursday here on campus. It'll be fun.
Across the Universe is the greatest movie ever made, and I will fight anyone who says otherwise. I refuse to even debate it.
Also, life.

Ha.
Back with Brooke.
Said no to the music.
Said not as much to the Orchards.
Quit choir.
I have free time.
Also, am I the only person not satisfied with Brand New's latest album?

I finally got around to buying The Fountainhead, and Naked Lunch.
About time. I also finished Lennon, (A biography of..guess who.) and am re-reading Islands in the Stream by Hemingway. Because it's wonderful. Really. And War and Peace is at my dorm, so I can't read it. And that makes me..Something. Not sad. But..Just meh. Whatevs.
Also, I really want to see The Bucket List. Because Morgan Freeman is God (in two movies, too!) and Jack Nicholson..isn't bad.

Obligatory Christmas post:
I got some ridiculous presents from my mother this year, none of which were expected.
An acoustic guitar. But you knew that.
A new synthesizer. This thing is huge. Blows my mind. Didn't see this coming.
A bunch of things for the recording of music.
A 30gb iPod upgrade from my 2gb. I did NOT see this coming at all, either.
Clothes.
Scarves.
Etcetrcetce.
But there were two things that really meant a lot to me as a person, as opposed to because it was Christmas.
An original copy of "Abbey Road" on vinyl.
A tie that John Lennon made himself. Now, for those of you who don't know me that well, that's quite a big deal. I love everything Lennon, and I was speechless for about a minute when I got it. I am wearing it to my wedding. If I get married.

Things:
I just kicked my writing final's ass.
In the same class, I got an 87.5% on my final paper, but then I got a 20/20 on an in-class essay, so it bumped my final paper grade to a 90%. I am satisfied.
My guitar came last week. I love this instrument. It's just not the same messing around on a piano as it is on a guitar.
My new shoes came today.
I've been having some very strange dreams lately, and I've been remembering them, which is even weirder.
And I only have four finals left.

It's okay. One class, five finals, and we're done.
